Frisco Town Council appoints new planning board member to fill vacant seat - Summit Daily

The Frisco Town Council appointed a new member to the town’s planning commission, a seven member commission tasked with reviewing development applications, long-range planning and making land-use recommendations, during its meeting Tuesday, Nov. 14.

The council unanimously appointed Frisco resident Candice De to the planning commission seat left vacant by the resignation of Patrick Gleason earlier this year after he moved out of town. Candice De will serve the remaining 2.5 years of Gleason’s term.

The town had 10 applicants for the position, two of whom were not eligible because they were not town residents and one who could not make an interview with town council members Lisa Holenko and Andy Held due to a work conflict.

Seven candidates were reportedly interviewed before Held and Holenko selected De and another finalist, who ultimately withdrew, as their final recommendation for the appointment to the planning commission.
