Here are the plans for the former Sonic restaurant on Wesleyan Drive in Virginia Beach - The Virginian-Pilot

Cool Wave Car Wash is planning to build a single-bay automated car wash on that property in Wesleyan Commons Shopping Center.

The 2,200-square-foot facility will have two pay lanes and the car wash tunnel entrance will be oriented towards Wesleyan Drive, according to city planning documents. Eight vacuum stations will be available.

Cool Wave Car Wash has five locations on the Peninsula and one in Smithfield. Another Virginia Beach location is planned for Indian River Road.

The site is at 5453 Wesleyan Drive, just east of Diamond Springs Road.
