About the Role

TWE seeks an experienced Vice President, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) who will be responsible for leading the Americas Sales & Operations Planning function.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will function as the one point of contact into the Americas Leadership Team for demand and supply planning. This position will drive our monthly and annual integrated decision-making process to continually focus, align and synchronize key planning functions, while delivering value and mitigating risks. A key deliverable for this role is to develop a collaborative process, with clear timelines, impactful reporting, fit for purpose tools, and consensus forecasts based on execution plans. This role will manage at team of five across commercial operations and S&OP.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accountable for Sales & Operations Planning, including process definition, roles & responsibilities, process improvement and systems/tools implementation.
* Establish and facilitate the S&OP forum to communicate demand forecast, financial implications, inventory management, and identification and management of issues for resolution in partnership with Americas senior leaders.
* Collaborates across functions to pull together information and insights into consolidated reports, tools, and decisions.
* Support, align and implement Global planning processes and reporting.
* Embed new systems over the next 12 months to ensure system capability and reporting meets user requirements.
* Accountable for Demand planning/forecasting/reporting, including:

* Responsible for S&OP Timelines, Calendar and Deliverables (through collaboration with other functions).
* Translate sales/demand forecast to shipment forecast that is aligned with operations and finance.
* Develops dashboards and reports regularly to Americas Leadership Team.
* Allocations Management (owner of the US COO allocation including strategic recommendations).
* Ensures order management issues are efficiently and effectively addressed, through process improvement and ad-hoc involvement.
* Incorporates DTC planning into S&OP processes and deliverables.
* Manages Commercial Operations team with responsibility for:
+ Balance to go targets and phasing for approval at Monthly Consensus Forum (Consensus).
+ Days on Hand Targets for approval at Consensus.
+ Inventory Load/De-load analysis and decisions.
+ Reporting and forecast for LATAM & Canada.
+ Development and ownership of SKU level semi-annual Global Volume Plan (GVP) for Americas total business based on Americas Strategic Plan, Strategy & Insights direction, TWE and category trends from Insights, financials, committed supply and growth opportunities.

* Lead Integrated Luxury Planning (ILP) process to determine medium- and long-term planning for luxury SKUs.
* Establish and track S&OP performance and success metrics.
* Conduct Demand forecast and GVP impact assessments; forecast versus actual, financial impact, finished goods and bulk wine inventory imbalance and dry goods obsolescence.
* Support long term demand plans for strategic sourcing.
* Constantly push for improvements in processes and systems and engage with TWE strategic and growth projects.
* Facilitate strategic decisions on issue resolution and gap closing to plans.
* Work with Penfolds team to ensure seamless inventory planning against plans.
* Collaborate with Sales, Strategy & Insights, Brand teams, and Supply to develop data-driven NPD forecasts by month.

About You

* Bachelor of Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management with equivalent work experience.
* 10+ years' work experience with minimum 5 years across commercial planning.
* High level of business awareness and understanding of the inter-relationships between each function.
* Project Management experience.
* Effective leadership skills with strong collaboration and influencing abilities.
* Demonstrated execution of Continuous Improvement principles.
* Demonstrated competency in ERP software applications (JDE a plus).
* Demonstrated experience with planning, forecasting software applications.
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite.
